Starshine is a really delightful cat. She loves being brushed and petted and she expresses her appreciation with happy feet and a soft purr. When you welcome this healthy senior into your home, your reward will be lots of love and a beautiful, chatty companion! She's a great example of how resilient and adaptable animals can be when their needs are met. Starshine is really enjoying regular meals, nice brushing sessions and the flea meds have completely resolved her allergies
We can tell she feels good by the sing-song meows she greets her caretakers with as well as her more welcoming attitude around the resident pets in her foster home. Starshine is ready to meet you and if you're lucky, she'll make you some biscuits!
** Starshine is the oldest kitty in our adoption program (a healthy 14 years young) and this means she qualifies for our Seniors For Seniors program to connect senior pets with caring humans without all the usual concerns about adoption. This program includes WCAL's full financial support for pet supplies, medical care and other assistance plus a lifetime safety net just in case! Our vet guesstimated her age at 5 or 6 years old before we learned Starshine's full story and he was impressed at what great condition she is in!
