This youthful adult German Shepherd dog has fantastic leash manners, likes other big dogs, is smart and very tuned-in to her people. Blondie also talks, loves to play with toys and is an expert couch snuggler. She enjoys the company of other playful big dogs and recently hit it off with a goofy 4 year old lab mix in her foster home. The surefire way to get her attention is to come bearing snacks, preferably lunch meat! Blondie is great in the car, loves a good squirrel chase and fails miserably at keeping strangers out of the home because she is just too friendly (not a barker, unless you are a squirrel). Blondie may technically be a senior dog with a little grey on her face, but she's still an impressively active, healthy girl who likes long daily walks
Her ideal home is free of those pesky felines (or any cat-sized dogs under 20# that could be confused for cats!). Blondie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on flea & heartworm preventatives. Her foster home is located in Calistoga and we'd be happy to introduce you to her.
