After 12 years together, my human could no longer keep me, but I have been loved and they made sure I was safe with a rescue! WCAL got me to their veterinarian and my eyes are already feeling better with some eye drops and ointments. I had TEN rotten teeth removed and got my toenails trimmed plus a few old mats of hair shaved off. They tell me I'll be feeling good and looking wonderful in a few short weeks. I guess I'll need daily eye drops for life to treat something called "dry eye" and keep my eyesight at its best. The drops don't bother me and I like it when my fosters give me attention so I let them give me my daily drops with no problem. There are other nice dogs in my foster home, soft beds, healthy food, and warm laps and I like all those things! A quiet home with nice humans sounds pretty great to me. I learned to use a dog door and like to sleep in bed with my people or to cuddle with the other dogs. To meet me is to love me. Just ask for Gidget!
