Jade is a rockstar. The surgery to correct her prolapsed uterus was complicated and the vet said that while he thought he'd done a good job, "the rest was up to her." If that's true, she deserves a gold star. She's peeing and pooping in her box (after some concern that she might not be able to pee at all), eating like a champ, completely accepting of the cone, and generally just a great patient. From day one she's been agreeable and affectionate and now that she comes out of the condo when I'm cleaning it up, the first thing she wants to do is climb in my lap.
