This beauty is a shy 2 year old girl looking for a calm, cat-savvy home. Opal is a night snuggler who likes a good and predictable routine. This helps her feel safe. A true calico, Opal will tell her humans if they are behind schedule! Opal has the cutest little meow so she usually gets what she wants. She loves treats and will come running when called. Even after a few months of decompression, quick movements by standing people can still spook her. A seated human feels safer for her. She has learned how to 'sit pretty' and she will line up with the two resident cats for a lick of kitty crack (Churu puree treats). Opal loves cuddle time in bed! She will push other cats out of the way to ensure maximum pets. It's important for her to have a clean litter box that is cleaned daily. Her previous owner reported trouble in this department, but if her standards are met, we are pleased to report that she is a very tidy litter box user! Daily scoopers only, please! Opal LOVES toys and late at night she often picks up a toy and will throw it around the house and chase it all by herself. Opal is looking for a patient, thoughtful adopter who will be understanding and kind as she slowly blossoms in their home.
