Obie is such a happy little dog and we are ready to begin accepting adoption applications to find him a wonderful home! He has recovered from neuter, finished his antibiotics and had an xray yesterday to confirm all is well. Oberon has a fragile little trachea, so he should wear a harness instead of a collar. He would benefit from regular nebulizer treatments (and/or a good steam while his human showers), plus the occasional vet visit for antibiotics if his condition worsens or flares up with seasonal allergies. It's also possible that Obie could require a surgery to correct his collapsing trachea in the future, but we sure hope not. Oberon loves everyone - kids, adults, dogs and even the kitties! Obie is still working on his potty training. It will take a fair amount of management for him to be successful at changing his leg lifting ways, so a patient & consistent family is a must. He has plenty of spunk for a 2 year old and can zoom really fast. He walks nicely on leash and likes a nice lap nap afterwards. Oberon is game to tag along for all sorts of adventures, likes car rides and is small and portable at only 12 pounds.
